Climate: Continental, with dry and hot summers, and snowy winters
Terrain: Charodnnay/Muscat Otttonel/Wurzer: Sandy soil with clay. North east exposure, 300 meters above sea level. Pinot Gris: Clay, with smaller amounts of sand and marl. Southern exposure, 400 meters altitude.
Farming: No irrigation. No herbicide. No cultivation. Environmentally friendly and sustainable viticulture, with respect for the land.
Vinification: Each variety is hand-picked and processed separately. Pinot Gris is whole bunched pressed, the others are destemmed and pressed. Juice goes directly without settling to older French oak barrels. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeast. Aging on gross lees in barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Notes: Golden in color. Rich fruit mixed with some reductive notes of flint and burnt match. Ripe and mineral, showing apricots, along with a touch of spice, well integrated oak and a strong acid backbone.
