Terrain: Marl-rich soils, with sand and small amounts of clay. Exposed southern exposure, 370 meters above sea level.
Farming: No irrigation. No herbicide. No cultivation. Environmentally friendly and sustainable viticulture, with respect for the land.
Vinification: Hand-picked grapes, destemmed and pressed. Settling for 48 hours. Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast. Bottling just prior to the end of fermentation. Roughly disgorged after 3 months in bottle. Contains sediment.
Tasting Notes: Rich, vibrant violet color. Blackcurrants and dark cherry mix with smoky notes of reduction on the nose. Fresh, crisp, easy drinking, young red wine with smooth but lively acidity and a friendly spritz. Smashable.
